A Geneva Heritage

The villa was built in 1937 by architect Maurice Braillard for the Boccard family of nurserymen and landscape gardeners. It is located in the Promenade des Crêts park. Braillard's style is recognisable by the elaborate woodwork, large bay windows and bow window that feature in many of his designs.

Maurice Braillard conceived the villa as an observatory of Geneva's great landscape. Did he imagine that one day his villa would become an observatory of international Geneva? Thanks to the Terra et Casa Foundation, the villa was restored in 2024 to its original splendour, with different colours for each room.
